  • Hydrafacial M.D® facial
  • Classic Cleansing facial
  • Acne facial

  • Dermaplane facial
  • Hydraplane facial

A variety of chemical peels are also available at Elevate Medical Spa.

What is a Hydrafacial MD®?

The Hydrafacial is our most popular facial at Elevate, and probably our favorite! It is an effective treatment used to address several common skin issues, including:

  • Wrinkles
  • Fine lines
  • Skin tone
  • Elasticity
  • Brown spots
  • Enlarged pores
  • Acne issues

The Hydrafacial MD® is a procedure that combines cleansing, exfoliaton, extraction, hydration and antioxidant protection simultaneously, resulting in clearer, more beautiful skin with no discomfort or downtime. It removes dead skin cells and extracts skin impurities through an invigorating exfoliation process. The treatment also provides new skin with hydration and moisturizing serums to provide you with a refreshed and vibrant complexion. The Hydrafacial MD® allows us to choose different levels of glycolic acid application- from 7.5 % up to 30%. We can also add different boosters to your hydrafacial to give you a more customized treatment. These boosters offer additional support with anti aging, brightening, collagen building and much more. Your esthetician will discuss and offer you what she feels your skin is in need of.

Hydrafacials offer long-term benefits, with results often seen immediately. Our Esthetician may recommend additional treatments every 1-4 weeks to maintain visible firmness. clarity, hydration and minimize fine lines and wrinkles.

What are Dermaplane treatments?

Dermaplane treatments are a great exfoliant. Our licensed and experienced staff uses dermaplane treatments to remove dead skin cells and restore your skin’s healthy look. It also allows for skin care products and skin treatments to be better absorbed. When performing a dermaplane, your skin is cleansed and a topical glide is applied. The esthetician will use a sterile blade to gently exfoliate the skin surface, removing the top-most layer of dead skin, along with fine vellus hair or peach fuzz. Many people fear that the hair will grow in thicker or fuller. This is simply not true. You are born with all your hair follicles so removing the hair does not produce more hair or hair follicles. Rather, it may all grow back equal or in the same manner, which can give you the feeling of it being thicker or more. It is also important to know that there is no pain and no anesthesia required. Dermaplane treatments can be performed on their own or as an additional treatment to many facials.

You will notice immediate results after the first treatment and our estheticians may recommend regular dermaplane treatments every 3-4 weeks to help you maintain vibrant, younger-looking skin.

What are Chemical and Exfoliant Peels?

Our Estheticians or Medical Providers use chemical and exfoliant peels to improve the appearance of your face and neck using a safe and robust exfoliating solution. Peels can address many issues, including pigment, texture, fine lines, and wrinkles. The provider will apply the selected solution over the desired treatment area, allowing for the medicated solution to peel off the outer layer of damaged skin. Chemical peels tend to be more chemical or prescription-based, offering a much deeper treatment. Exfoliant peels tend to be plant or fruit-based and are geared toward a lighter peel for those that are more sensitive, maybe do not need a very aggressive peel, and or are just starting with different peels. Some people will see actual peeling effects, while others may experience none to mild peeling effects. Our Esthetician can help customize the correct treatment plan for you. It is important to not treat sunburned skin and to keep the skin protected from the sun for @2 weeks after your treatment. Peels are recommended to be performed every season- so 4 peels per year. Sometimes you may be recommended to do 3 in a row, each one month apart.

Results that can be seen can be mild to dramatic, depending on the depth or type of the peel used. The new skin underneath is smoother and more toned, giving your skin a younger-looking, healthier appearance. Chemical and Exfoliant peels are effective in treating brown spots, wrinkles, texture issues, and shallow scars. If you are new to peels, it may be recommended that you start with a lower-level peel and work your skin up to stronger peels so we know what your skin tolerance is. It is important to avoid direct sun for 1-2 weeks before and @ 2weeks after your treatment. And as always, application of an SPF of 35 or higher is recommended every 2 hours.

Elevate offers several chemical peel treatments including:

- Skin Medica Peels
- VI Peels by Vitality Institute

Our Esthetician or Medical Provider can evaluate your skin type and problem areas to determine which facial treatment is right for you. You will also be instructed on what skincare regimen to continue afterward. To learn more about available facial treatments and peels, schedule an appointment by calling the spa directly.
